Sometimes things are out of your control and it can feel hard to navigate
After a week of feeling all the feels with my own SEN child and poorly dogs on top of farm renovations and preparing for the Christmas event, news of a storm hitting was the last thing I needed.
It’s ment extra work, taking down event stuff that I had spent time putting up so there isn’t storm damage and having to navigate messaging everyone booked on some of which now can not attend due to other commitments which breaks my heart as I hate to disappoint people especially when they have taken the opportunity to come visit and support our work.
But safety is paramount and many other Christmas events have taken the difficult decision to close too which means it’s going to be a weekend of everyone anchored down waiting out the storm. (We will still be battling the weather as farming waits for no storm)
But it means today and tomorrow even though the winds have now picked up is preparing…… getting hay and feeds ready to make life as easy as possible for the tough weekend ahead
All these things have ment I have had to dig deep not only for motivation but also my mental health like many of you it’s challenging at times and having the tools to support you is key to making it or breaking under the pressure.
So this is just a little reminder to make sure your taking care of you.
If your plans have changed how can you use some of that time to nourish yourself to recharge ahead of the festive season?
I have some top tips coming that are all set to go out on a guest speaking gig and blog this week as a exclusive but feel free to take the quiz
Below and then I’ll send you the juicy bonus.

Love light and farm wishes
