TERMS OF USE FOR GLAMPING SITE

The site is NOT staffed at all times. The owners live onsite but have a family and businesses to run so may be off site at some points during the day and will be there at check-in times and available at short notice if required.

 

If you require assistance in an emergency or within the hours of 8.30-6pm please  ring the bell on the main wall near the entrance to the farm house do not enter the courtyard 

 

You agree to take all reasonable precautions against personal injury, injury to others and damage to the farm, facilities and accommodation, in respect of litter, fire, noise after 10pm.

 

This is a quiet campsite, please respect fellow campers and our neighbours no loud music and please keep all noise to a low level between 10.00pm and 8.00am. Anyone found damaging or defacing facilities or property will be evicted from site and prosecuted.

 

This is a farm campsite please be aware that we have some uneven ground and our resident rabbits can be very ambitious with their digging so please be careful underfoot

 

Anything you bring to the site or wider area and any damage or loss to your possessions is at your own risk. You use the facilities and amenities at the site at your own risk.

 

Bin bags and Recycling bins are provided please use these in the manner it is intended.

 

No fireworks or Chinese lanterns allowed.

 

The flying of drones is prohibited on site.

 

We regret that private generators of any kind are not permitted on site

 

Please note that disposable BBQ’s are not permitted and the correct coal wood and kindling must be used in BBQ’s and fire pit and they must be emptied when you depart. Everything you need for a camp fire can be purchased from us. We reserve the right to ban the use of fire pits etc if the ground is extremely dry, or other inclement weather prevails. No Foraging for wood. Fires other than the communal fire pit or BBQ’s not permitted

 

We will not be held responsible for any personal injury sustained whilst you are glamping/camping or using our fire pit, bbq’s or facilities 

 

Our site is a farm and an area of natural outstanding beauty and we ask you kindly to respect the environment 

 

Children are welcomed to our site but they must be supervised, there are large open spaces that can used for ball games etc. Please ensure you know where your children are at all times.

 

Please ensure you use torches provided when accessing the site’s facilities in the dark as we try to keep lighting to a minimum to preserve the 'dark sky'.

 

There are a number of facilities for your convenience that are shared, for example fridge, charging points, cooker, kettle, toaster, tea urns, pots, pans and plates etc. Please note you’re more than welcome to use these facilities, but these are all used at your own risk and completely reliant on trust. We will not be held responsible for items left in the fridge, freezer or left charging and please respect our facilities leaving them as you found them the facilities are inspected twice a day and cleaned 

 

By booking you are acknowledging these Terms and Conditions, and that you are aware of the risks, hazards and dangers of personal injury in entering the campsite and farm (For example, there is wild flowers and plants growing, uneven surfaces in some areas due to animal grazing etc)

 

Arrival and Departure

Accommodation will be ready by 3pm so we ask for arrivals between 3 and 6.30pm. You must advise us of your estimated arrival time. If you are likely to be later than 6.30pm please let us know as staff may not be available

Guests are requested to vacate their accommodation and all communal areas by 11am on day of departure and please ensure that before doing so, you clear the accommodation as required:

   •  Remove all rubbish to the appropriate bins/recycling;
   •  Ensure no litter outside or around the accommodation (this is vital to ensure safety to wildlife and livestock);
   •  Wash up any dishes used; and
   •  Empty the communal fridge of all your belongings. Please don’t leave any food behind unless it is binned or composted.

Dogs that have had prior authority to attend must be cleaned up after at all times 

 

Failure to comply to any of this will result in a charge 

 

Vehicle and Parking

Cars must remain in the parking area provided.

Cars/small vans are only included in the rate. 

 

Pets

Pets are only permitted with prior approval and must be kept under control and on a lead at all times because we have animals  on site and for the safety of all guests.

Dogs that are not kept under control or cleaned up after will result in the party been asked to leave with no refund 

 

Please clean up after your dogs and dispose of in general waste

 

Dogs are not permitted on the beds and must not be left in the tents or on site alone 

 

Any damage to the tents will result in a fee being charged 

 

Untrained dogs/puppies that are not toilet trained unfortunately not allowed in the tents 

 

Visitors

Visitors are not permitted on site as we keep the numbers to a small number to ensure the site isn’t over populated for our guests 

 

Camp Rules

No loud or amplified music/noise is permitted after 10pm. Owners live on site and our neighbours and community are always respected. Quiet time is between 10pm-8am (We understand some children may be excited but please try to remind them of quite voices) 

 

Any damage to the property by adults or children must be reported to staff and will be charged for at market value of the items including extra cleaning or dry-cleaning costs incurred.

 

Absolutely No kicking ball against, climbing on or jumping off dry stone walls.

We reserve the right to cancel a booking at short notice in the case of extreme weather or in the unlikely event that we cannot provide safe accommodation.

 

Guests are responsible for cleaning up after themselves. Communal spaces must always be kept tidy. Guests must leave the site in the same way that they found it.

Only the appropriate fuel, which can be purchased on site, can be used in the fire pits and bbqs (ie. kiln dried logs, correct coal and kindling) The burning of plastic, paper or cardboard is strictly prohibited.

 

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. Children to be kept under close parental supervision at all times, especially around the play park, fire pits and the farm area. The farming mother and site takes no responsibility for any accidents and children play at their own risk.

 

In the event of a complaint, please speak to a member of staff immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management’s attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

 

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

 

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground, must not be placed on picnic tables and must be attended by an adult at all times.

 

 

Lastly but not least – Relax and Enjoy yourselves.
